AJARIA FRONTIER | GEORGIA

$ 1,825.00 USD
$ 1,950.00 USD

Tucked deep in Georgia’s southwestern corner, Ajar is where dense forests give way to alpine meadows and towering ridgelines overlook the Black Sea. It’s a land shaped by contrast—where subtropical humidity meets snow-covered peaks, and ancient stone villages echo with the sound of distant avalanches. Untamed, untouched, and wildly beautiful, Ajar offers a playground for those chasing raw lines, local soul, and off-the-map adventure.

Details

In the western folds of the Caucasus, where the snow meets the sea place like you’ve never seen before - raw, remote, and loaded with lines that beg to be ridden.

THE CONCEPT

Ajaria is Georgia’s wild card - a remote, untapped playground where snowy peaks crash toward the Black Sea and the silence runs deep.
This expedition takes us beyond the usual Caucasus routes and deep into Goderdzi Pass, a storm-loaded zone shaped by sea winds, empty valleys, and ancient mountain villages.

We base ourselves in the highlands, chase storms between old forests and alpine bowls, and ride where very few have dropped before.
It’s part freeride, part exploration, and all about drawing bold lines in terrain still untouched by mainstream snow travel.

THE TERRAIN

Ajaria is all about contrast:

  • Deep forests that open into alpine bowls
  • Sea-effect storms dropping meters of snow
  • Long, floaty tree runs and technical steeps hidden just above the treeline
  • Consistent snowpack from November through till April

We tour through ridgelines shaped by centuries of wind and time. Weather can shift fast, but when it aligns - this place delivers raw magic.

OUR PLAYGROUND

We ride mostly out of Goderdzi Pass, with additional access to hidden local zones known only to Georgian guides.
The terrain is a mix of:

  • Forest freeride
  • Tree-dense gullies
  • Open alpine terrain above 2200m
  • Backcountry bowls with serious vertical

Depending on conditions, we adapt daily—always chasing the best drop zones and safest routes.

ACCOMMODATION

We stay in a local hotel near Goderdzi:

  • Double or triple rooms with heating and local charm
  • Georgian-style meals: hearty, rustic, perfect after deep days
  • Sauna available on-site
  • Fireplace evenings, local wine, and mountain hospitality you won’t forget
